He has taken off the old wet insulation, built up the parapet at the front, made tapered fittings to the old joists to give the roof a better pitch, put down new board, new insulation, vapour barrier and then installed a lovely zinc roof. I think I have a roof that is going to last! Looks fantastic and the work was done really fast and efficiently. Once Paul fixed the roof, I could easily fix solar panels to the zinc seams. Paul did a superb job sorting out our roof - we were not sure of the extent of the issues that occurred during rainfall, but Paul did a survey and quoted for the work itemising out the work into must dos and provisional work that might be needed. All sorted in 4 days in the end, and final invoice reflected the provisional work that was not needed. Paul has worked for me on numerous project now. I wouldn't dream of looking to anyone else. I will explain the projects, but Paul & his team give builders a good name. He is polite, understanding, he listens, his time keeping is perfect, there's no slacking no nothing. Paul remodelled my garden completely in 2019. He sketched me what a designed based on what he thought would work best, I trusted him, and it worked perfectly. Fencing, artificial grass, composite decking, outdoor false wall with TV hidden inside, boxed in hot tub & pergola installed. Everything cut perfect, amazing lines. Paul also re-roofed the same house, around 200m2 of fake slate tiles. Workmanship was incredible. Navigated his way through snow, losing his staff. He put in evenings and weekends, when he probably shouldn't have. Paul finally extended a garden annexe for me in 2021 - including installing a new kitchen. The measurements escape me, but we squared off a large 1 bed annexe at record starting time. Paul actually told me he couldn't help because he was so busy, but because builders were short in stock due to being busy through covid, we ended up at a stand still. Paul got wind, rang me out of the blue, and turned up to start the following day with differing people just doing bits here and bits there. The kitchen was done over 4 evenings. We chose Paul out of 6 quotations we had for our garage extension/rebuild as he was the most knowledgeable and the contractor we felt most comfortable with. We are so glad we did. Paul was onsite majority of days and at no point was the job left at a standstill. Site was left clean and tidy every night especially on a Friday knowing he wouldn't be on site over the weekends. The finish on our new office is second to none down to every small detail. Being in the trades myself I tend to look for things wrong or ways I would of done the work differently but Paul and all of his team were one step ahead and finished when they said they would and to the standard we paid for. Turned up on the agreed date to begin and all work was carried out to a good standard that I was very happy with. I found Paul to be reliable and turned up every day until the job was completed. The room now looks so much better and friends that have come around have commented what a difference it has made. I would not hesitate to have more work done by Paul in the future.Load more
